Rebecca's Stand Against Bullying

Rebecca Ann Sedwick was a 12 year old girl that was beautiful, smart, funny and compassionate. She was always trying to help others and make everyone feel better about themselves. It was her dream to raise awareness and make educators and law enforcement realize how serious bullying has become. Sadly, Becca lost her life on September 9, 2013 from falling or jumping off a cement silo due to bullying and feeling helpless to stop it or for herself to be heard. Their goal is not only to pass Rebecca’s Law and raise awareness of bullying but to develop a program to help our children raise their self esteem. Their motto is “Words DO matter!” Please visit  Rebecca's Stand Against Bullying for more information.

Carpenter's House for Children

Their faces are bright. Their spirits are high. Their stories are compelling.

The Carpenter’s House for Children provides a safe refuge for children who come from orphanages in third-world countries, many of whom have experienced dismal poverty, near starvation or suffer from life-threatening medical conditions that cannot be adequately treated in their home country.

Adopting these children into their home — and their hearts — the Manfredis provide a foundation of values and responsibility, and a lifetime of love and support to the children of The Carpenter's House. Although raising up to 18 children under one roof presents challenges, the Manfredis consider themselves blessed to be able to help make a difference.

The Leesburg Lightning Baseball Club

The Leesburg Lightning are a member of the The Florida Collegiate Summer League (Florida League), a wood bat baseball league with six teams in Central Florida. Founded in 2003, the Florida League provides a valuable opportunity for college players to play wood bat baseball against top-level competition with the goal of preparing them for a career in professional baseball.

The Florida League is one of ten leagues affiliated with the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball (NACSB) – an alliance of college summer wood bat leagues which operates under National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) legislation. It is funded in part by Major League Baseball and is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation that is primarily dependent on donations from individuals, businesses and foundations in each team’s community.

The Usos Samoan Family Foundation

Usos Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that focuses on changing the lives of at-risk and wayward young men and women. It gets them away from the streets, away from drugs, gangs, negativity, broken homes, etc. and gives scholarships to the world-renowned Wild Samoan Pro-Wrestling Training Center, where they learn structure, guidance, discipline, trust, camaraderie, the mind-body-spirit connection, exercise, valuable career-building and entrepreneurial skills, and much more. Usos Foundation depends entirely on donations and fundraising efforts. However, it can't be a success without the help of the community and word being spread everywhere. Donation are always very greatly appreciated. No amount is too small, and every little bit helps! Usos Foundation also helps young people live their dreams. It's not JUST for wayward and at-risk youths! Usos is all about opportunity, encouragement, giving young hopefuls with little chance or direction a place to fulfill their dreams.
